Harkins third California location opened March 24, 2016, with “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” on five screens. This gave the chain 31 theaters and 464 screens in five states.
In addition to the latest technical amenities in sound and projection, the theater’s two largest auditoriums are the 500-seat, 80-foot Ciné Capri auditorium and the IMAX screen.
For the adults is a lobby bar and gourmet menu. For children, 3 to 8 and at an extra cost, is their child PlayCenter. It is staffed by professionals and monitored by a wristband security system and pagers for the parents.
