Located in the north Melbourne district of Preston West. The Progress Theatre was opened prior to 1946 when it was operated by S. Guest. It was still open in 1956, but had closed by 1959.
It became a table tennis hall, and later an Italian club the Campania Vesuvio Sport & Social Club. In 2016 the building is in use as Marias Continental Hair Stylist.
