The Grove Drive-In opened in the early-1960’s by the local Gillam family. Taken over by Birch Carroll and Coyle in November 1972. Birch Carroll & Coyle built a new snack bar and projection building(bio box) behind the original snack bar and projection(bio box), and upon completion in 1974, the original buildings were demolished. Three days later there remained no trace! The Grove Drive-in closed in 1987, and lay dorment for the next two years. The snack bar was demolished in 1997 (the last part of the Grove Drive-in remaining). The site is now a Tavern(Andergrove Tavern) and a house.
