The Amusu Theatre opened on 25th April 1925. Movie screenings ceased on 18th July 1928. The theatre building was then used for dancing and live theatre, and as a social club, and for 16mm movie screenings on Sunday nights in the 1950’s. The theatre building has been covered in aluminium cladding, and is now a camping store(Collie Canvas & Camping).
