Miners Institute Hall

The Miners Institute Opened in(1887?). Movies were screened from December 1904 to 1907. The Miners Institute moved to a new hall in 1907(in Gibbons Street). The new Miners Institute closed in 1956. No known movie screenings in the new Miners Institute. The first Miners Institute building has been demolished(date unknown?). The site is now empty. The second Miners Institute building has been demolished(date unknown?). The site is now a house between the Telstra building abd the former police station precinct.
