The Cottonwood III Cinemas opened in the mid-1980’s at the Cottonwood Plaza shopping center for BAC Theatres. Kerasotes Theatres took over the theater in 2000 and operated it until its closing in 2008. The theater was demolished to make way for the neighboring Walmart’s remodeling into a Walmart Supercenter in 2012.
