Gabbin Hall opened in 1921. Movie were first screened by Paddy Baker on 21st August 1922. He screened again later that same year, and irregularly for some time after that. The hall is still there, but no longer screens movies. The hall is now used by the CWA(Country Womens Assocation), and a CBH(Co-operative Bulk Handling) grain facility.
