Cinema One 69 Mount Street, Burnie, TAS - Now a bar & cafe.

The Star Theatre was opened on 4th October 1955. It was later re-named Village One Cinema and by 1981 Cinema One and the seating capacity had been increased to 703. It was still open in October 1986.

It became a bar & nightclub. Later a restaurant it is now a live music venue named The Cinema.

The Star theatre opened on 4/10/1955. Later called Village Cinema One and then Cinema One. Closed on 3/12/2000. Later became a bar and nightclub, then a restaurant. Now called The Cinema and hosting live music acts. Address is 69 Mount Street. The Vogue Theatre was at 30 Marine Terrace.
