Located just off the city centre. The Beehive Picture Palace was opened on 19th February 1913. It was built for and operated by Hollas & Hart operating as Beehive Picture Palaces Ltd. It was closed as a silent cinema in February 1927.
The building later became an employment exchange and finally a factory.
