Located in Truro, Cornwall. The County Picture Theatre was opened prior to October 1912. It was used as a cinema and for live theatre. It has a 23ft wide proscenium and a 27ft deep stage. It was taken over by Truro Corporation in 1928 and became the City Theatre. It was closed as a silent cinema around 1930.

In 1931 it was equipped with a Western Electric(WE) sound system and re-opened as the Regent Cinema. It operated on a mix of films and variety shows until it closed around 1955.
