N. Juniper Street and Market Street,

Located in the city center on the northeast corner of N. Juniper Street and Market Street to the east of City Hall. The Globe Theatre was opened June 1, 1914 and was designed by the Hoffman Company. It presented motion pictures and stage shows. It was closed October 31, 1929 and was to be converted into a bank. On January 9, 1930 there was an explosion in the empty building which caused several fatalities and injuries, and it was subsequently demolished.
