Except for the Roxy’s actual demolition, this bargain-priced double feature of reissues was possibly the worst insult to the Cathedral of Motion Pictures. It opened on February 24th, 1960, and would be followed by a first-run single feature booking of “The Wind Cannot Read” before the Roxy closed forever. The Roxy’s first-run screen/stage policy ended on February 23rd, with “The Gazebo” as the film.
