“Anastasia” had its world premiere at the Roxy on December 13, 1956, as part of the Roxy’s Christmas Show. “Anastasia" was also the movie that returned Ingrid Bergman to grace in the Hollywood community after an exile over her personal life. Now forgiven by Hollywood, she went on to win a Best Actress ‘Oscar’ for her performance in “Anastasia.”
