Houston Hippodrome

The Houston Hippodrome was opened in 1909 presenting Yiddish vaudeville acts & movies. It was built for and operated by Charles Steiner. It was closed around 1916 and was demolished to build the Sunshine Theatre which opened in 1917 under new operators.
