Bijou Theatre

Fred H. Low opened the Bijou Theatre on August 21, 1906, in a remodeled storeroom. It was the second house of that name in Brainerd, the earlier Bijou Theatre having been in operation at an unknown location as early as 1904.

Shows at the second Bijou Theatre featured movies, illustrated songs, and a single vaudeville act, all for ten cents (five cents for children.) The house was still open at least as late as February, 1914.
