Grand Theatre

Opened on April 18, 1910, the Grand Theatre was located in the eastern bay of the Sleeper Block, a commercial and office building which had been largely rebuilt following a major fire in 1907.

The Grand Theatre boasted of its two aisles, with three seats per row in the side sections and five in the center section. The house presented movies and three acts of vaudeville, which was initially provided by the Sullivan & Considine circuit, on its 16x24 foot stage.

The Grand Theatre closed sometime around the end of 1915, succumbing to competition from newer theatres.
