Bird's Hall

The Bird’s Hall was opened in 1884. By 1926 it was operating as a movie theatre. It was still operating as a silent movie theatre in 1932 and was listed as (Closed) in 1933 & 1934. It has been demolished apart from the clock tower.

Only the Bird Hall clock tower remains. The rest of the building was destroyed by a fire in the 1990’s.

Bird’s Hall is listed under East Walpole MA in the 1927 Film Daily Yearbook. It was said to have 200 seats and was open 2 nights per week.
