Magic Eye Theater

Previously at this location had been the Flying Saucers and the Tomorrowland Stage. The Magic Eye Theater opened in Disneyland in May 1984 with “Magic Journeys”(a Kodak-sponsored 3D movie that had been imported from Walt Disney World in 1984 for a two year run on the Space Stage and then for four months at the Magic Eye Theater).

Then in September 18, 1986, it started showing “Captain EO”, and ran until April 7, 1996. Then it showed “Honey, I Shrunk The Audience” from May 22 1998 to January 4 2010. “Captain EO” was screened again as a tribute to the late Michael Jackson from February 23 2010 to June 22, 2014.

Now screening in 2017 “Star Wars: Path of the Jedi”.

Space stage should be a former name and the operator should be listed as Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. the current image for the theater shows the Epcot version of the Magic eye theater that is the line start post at the Imagination building at Disney world.
