Built on the site of the Cinematografo Fides (1908). The Cinema Ideal was opened in 1939. It was designed by architect Ottorino Aloisio and had a seating capacity for 2,400. It was damaged by bombing in 1943.

Repaired and reopened after the end of World War II, in recent years it has been converted into a 5-screen cinema, with 670 seats in the former circle, and the orchestra divided into 4 screens seating 210, 210, 150 & 135. It is operated by Cityplex Cinemas.
