Palmer Theater

The Palmer Theater, located in the Palmer Square neighborhood on W. Armitage Avenue near N. Kedzie Avenue, was open by 1913. It is listed in operation until 1917.

From 1922 through the 1930’s, the address is listed as a funeral home. A building at this address today is in operation as a medical center, and though the Cook County Assessor site lists it as 62 years old, the building looks much older, but may not be old enough to have been the Palmer Theater.
