Cine San Blas

Located in the San Blas district to the east of the city and the corner of Calle de los Hermanos Garcia Noblejas and Calle del Castillo de Ucles. The Cine San Blas was opened in February 1964. The entrance was at the corner base of a high rise apartment building, with the auditorium built behind. It was designed by architects Jose Maria Castell Garcia and Jamie Ferrater Ramoneda. Seating was provided in orchestra & balcony levels. It was equipped with 35mm & 70mm projection.

The Cine San Blas was closed in 2005 and the auditorium was demolished to build an appartment complex. The former cinema entrance in the high rise now serves as an entrance to Redpiso while a Lidl supermarket is located on the ground floor of the new apartment complex.
