This opened on September 26th, 1952. Grand opening ad posted
The Evangeline Club was closed in 1984 and demolished in 1988. Another old club was called Snooks Bar. It was located on the corner of Snooks Rd. and Main St. It can be seen in the aerial photo. It was lost to a fire I think in the late 90s.
Is the Evangeline club still there?
The entrance road is now Clarks Lane. The property itself is mostly empty, but there is no trace of the drive-in remaining.
