The Phenix Twin was a twin cinema built by Martin Theatres, opening on July 2, 1976. The opening features were “That’s Entertainment, Part 2”, and Clint Eastwood in “The Outlaw Josey Wales”. First run pictures ran at the Phenix Twin until 1981, when all seats then became 99 cents. The theatre remained a second-run establishment until May of 1997, when it closed.

The building still stands and, as of 2012, was an event space.
