Opened as the Storm Cinema around the year 2000 and was originally a six-screen cinema. It was bought by the EE group in 2008 and managed by Odeon, which bought it in 2011 and rebranded it in 2012. The seating breakdown in the auditoria is as follows: Screen 1 - 206; Screen 2 - 227; Screen 3 - 167; Screen 4 – 156; with all screens having Digital AES sound.

Odeon’s acquisition of the cinemas owned by Entertainment Enterprises (EE) took place in 2011, not 2010. The rebrand of Cavan would have taken place in 2012 at the earliest. See also entry on this website for Odeon, Point Square, Dublin which was the first Odeon in Ireland to officially carry the name there; it was rebranded in March 2012.
