Located in Mitchelstown, County Cork. The Central Cinema was based in the Central Hall and was first screening films in the 1940’s courtesy of Henry Delaney. The Hall held around 400 and was equipped with a Kalee sound system. Thomas Roche was running the operation during the 1960’s but is unclear when the last screenings took place. It is still listed in the 1971 edition of the Kine Year Book.
