Located in the Sant Antoni district of the city centre at the corner of Ronda de Sant Pau and Carrer d'Aldana. The Teatro Olimpia opened in 1926 with “Quo Vadis”. It was also used for musicals, opera, circus and political meetings (especially before and during the Spanish Civil War).

On 7th November 1944 it became the Cine Olimpia playing the 1939 film “Tower of London” starring Basil Rathbone. Cinema use did not last long as it was closed in February 1947 and was demolished.

An apartment block now stands on the site.
