The T.A. Work Theatre started in the early-1900’s with live performances. It may have served as the Odd Fellows Hall for some period. The Work became the Star Theatre showing photoplays exclusively beginning in 1910. The Star Theatre closed October 7, 1921. The store was converted to other retail use by year’s end.
