Located in the Folie-Mericourt district close to Republique in the north of the city centre. The Cinema-Theatre Alhambra was opened in the 1910’s. In 1932 it was renovated in an Art Deco style to the plans of architect Georges Gumpel.

It was listed as (Closed) in 1945, and may have closed during World War II? It had reopened by 1955, re-named Alhambra Malte, but had closed by 1955.

Since demolished, an apartment block has been built on the site, which contains a gymnasium at street level.
