Ken Theatre

This modest red brick theatre was built in 1953 (NRHP listing says ‘around’ 1945), and closed sometime in the 1980’s. It was purchased in 2005 by a local couple who restored it, and reopened in 2007 as a community arts venue.

Reproduction marquee was installed in 2016, just 11 days after my visit.

The theatre’s Facebook page shows the repro marquee lit up and a couple of interior pictures. Strictly a black box venue, with a flat floor and brick walls.https://www.facebook.com/The-Ken-Theatre-506155976177181/
