Ritz Theatre

The Manor Theatre opened on November 7, 1927 in Croydon. In January of 1939, it was renamed the Ritz Theatre. It was heavily redesigned in 1950, relaunching as the new Ritz Theatre with reduced seat count. The final showing was January 2, 1961 with Walt Disney’s “Toby Tyler.” The space was retrofitted for other retail purposes becoming a Paul’s Toy Fair in 1962. The building has since been razed.
