Open in 1911 as the Conscience Cinema, named as a tribute to the Flemish writer. It became the Reo Cinema in 1939. In 1956 it was taken over by Georges Heylen who operated cinemas in Brussels. Elvis Presley in “Loving You” was shown there in January 1958. It had already closed in 1963 and became office space. It has since been demolished.
