Opened by 1914 as a 190-seat movie theatre. The 1918 Sanborn shows a theatre operating in a large one-story wooden building on the SW corner of Williamson Street and Jackson Street. The Opera House was still open in 1931 as a silent movie theatre with 250 seats. It had closed by 1932.
The theatre was long ago demolished, along with almost everything else downtown. All that remains is some broken concrete flooring in the grass, which may have belonged to a later structure.
