The Kit Carson Theatre was opened by 1936 with 375 seats. By 1937 it was listed a (Closed). Still closed in 1938, it had reopened by 1939 and was operated by Fox Intermountain Theaters Inc. By 1943 it was listed as (Closed).

By 1950 it had reopened as the 305-seat Scout Theatre, still operated by Fox Intermountain Theaters Inc. Still open in 1952, it had closed by 1955.
