The 1914 Sanborn shows an extremely crude theatre operating in a large one-story wooden structure. The floor was dirt, and the sides were canvas. The rear wall was metal-clad, presumably to protect the screen. There was a small ticket booth in the center, flanked by broad entries set back under the roof, with a few sheds projecting off the sides toward the street. This area was not on the 1907 map, so it’s unclear whether this then existed. By about 1915-20, it had been replaced by a huge garage/dealership.
