The Moonlight Drive-In first appeared in the Film Daily Year Book’s annual list in the 1950 edition. It closed by 1960 when the state paid $400,000 for the site to build the US 20-US 12 Highway Cloverleaf.

The 1959 Motion Picture Almanac listed the drive-in with a capacity of 750 cars, owner Tri-State Drive-In Corp.

Nothing remains of the Moonlight Drive-In today except that Cloverleaf that replaced it.

It does appear that the outline of part of the back fence and ramp remain from the drive-in.
