Das Geheimnis der Schwester Angelika

Located in the Rahlstedr district in the east of the city. The 800-seat Bachtheater was opened in 1919. In 1932 it was equipped for sound films. In was closed in 1941, possibly due to conditions during World War II.

It was re-opened in 1950 with a reduced seating capacity of 262 and was operated by Depplemann, Siems & Winter, It was equipped with Frieske & Hoepfner projectors and a Siemans-Klangfilm sound system. The Bachtheater was closed in 1967. The Rahlstedt Shopping Centre now occupies the site.
