Located in the centre district of Rothenburgsort. The Kino Palast opened in 1911. There were many managers in a very short period of time: Busching, Kruse, Schmidt, Pemoeller, Hagenow, Harten & Botgar. In 1931 a Tobis sound system was installed. In 1932 it was closed for a short while, re-opening in 1933 and re-named Gloria Palast Rothenburgsort.

In 1943 the cinema was destroyed by Allied bombs during World War II.
