Located in the centre district of Neustadt. The Neues Reichstheater was opened in 1913 and was operated by Hirschel & Co Norddeutsche Filmtheater KG. In 1934 it was operated by Tacke. (There was a cinema named Reichstheater located at Fruchtallee 136 in the Eimsbuttel district which has its own page on Cinema Treasures). In 1933 it was equipped with a Klangfilm sound system. In 1937 it was operated by Behnke & Struckmeyer and in 1940 Romahn & Schuemann took over. In 1943 the Neues Reichstheater was destroyed by Allied bombs during World War II.
