Platt Picture Theatre

Felsham Road and Platt Street,
London, SW15

Unfavorite No one has favorited this theater yet

Located in the southwest London district of Putney, on Platt Street, which no longer exists today. The Platt Picture Theatre was operating in the early-1900’s. It was located on the first floor of a empty factory building and cinema pioneer William Friese Greene screened some of his early films here.

Demolished long ago, housing now occupies the site, but The Platt Christian Centre at 22 Felsham Road keeps the ‘Platt’ name alive.
