The Baker Theatre was Spruce Pine’s second theatre. It was located across the street from the Baker Motel. The building currently on the site, was not the structure. The structure was destroyed by a fire in 1956. It was owned by Floyd Baker who also owned the Carolina Theatre of Spruce Pine at the same time.
