On June 20, 1953, Boxoffice reported, “The new Park In Drive-In south of Soap Lake was opened by Columbia Basin Theatres”.
The 1955 Motion Picture Almanac listed the Park In Drive-In with a capacity of 250 cars, owner John Lee.
The drive-in was intact in a 2013 aerial photo, but the screen was gone by 2015. As of 2019, the ramps and fence were still visible. A marquee still stood at the corner of Highway 28 and Road 19 in a 2018 Google Street View image.
