The Ritz Theatre was the older and smaller of the two theaters in Moses Lake. It was open into the mid-1960’s. A college roommate of mine was born and raised in that town and remembered seeing films there as a child. He remembers it closing at the same time as Larson Air Force Base closed and the town lost more than 5,000 in population over a 6 month period. The base closed in 1966.
