This theater opened in 1905 on Hampshire Street, Quincy’s “Theatre Row”. It closed in 1949, and has been demolished. A medical office sits on the site today.

Before it closed the name was changed to the Quincy. I know it was open at least until 1954, because I went there with Tommy Holford to see a movie and we ran out scared when bats started flying….Pat McCormick
