Located in the northwest Sheffield district of Netherthorpe at the junction with St Phillips Road and Mitchell Street. The Weston Picture Palace was opened on 10th March 1914 with “Captain Kidd”. It was operated by Weston Palace Ltd. Seating was provided on a single floor with a raised section at the rear. The proscenium was 18ft wide. In June 1931 it was equipped with a Western Electric(WE) sound system and by 1934 it was operated by Hallamshire Cinemas Ltd. They were still the operators in 1954.

The Weston Picture Palace had closed on 2nd February 1957 due to a lack of patrons when slum clearance began. It was later demolished and housing has been built on the site.
