Maxim-Filmtheater

Located in the Tiegarten district of the centre of Berlin. The Maxim-Filmtheater opened as a single screen cinema on 8th July 1956. It was operated by Constantine Film. The size of the CinemaScope screen was 15.2 x 6 meters. It had a 4-channel stereophonic sound system by Klangfilm. The cinema contained a Hammond Kino organ which was used pre-programme.

The Maxim-Filmtheater was closed in 1974. It was converted into an Aldi supermarket. By 2019 it became a natural food market named Alnatura Super Natur Markt.
