Columbia theatre

Located in the Tempelhof district in front of Tempelhof Airport. The Columbia Theatre was opened as a single screen cinema on 13th October 1951 with the Warner Bros. production “Captain Hornblower” starring Gregory Peck. It was operated by the U.S. Army in Berlin for all U.S. personnel and their guests. The Columbia Theatre was closed in 1994.

It was re-named Columbia Club and reopened in 1998 as a nightclub and music hall. It was later re-named Columbia Theatre.
