In Gateshead, Tyne & Wear, the Coronation Picture Hall was licensed in August 1911 by Thomas Usher. It occupied space above shops near the Belle Vue public house.
Perhaps not too surprisingly, it did not operate for very long, with the licence being allowed to lapse in 1915.
The Belle Vue public house still stands on this major thoroughfare.
