Previous Names: Bio-Picture Land

In Reading, Berkshire, the Bio-Picture Land opened, in the King’s Hall, in July 1909.

Around 1910-1911 the cinema was renamed the Standard Electric Theatre. The manager was Frank W. O. Smith.

This very short-lived cinema closed in 1914.

It is assumed the building has been lost to redevelopment in this city centre location.
