Theatre

This theatre appears on the 1910 Sanborn, operating in a three story brick building dating to sometime before 1886. The structure dropped to one story in the rear half.

Shown on the 1894 map as a saloon, this was another simple conversion with the installation of a gas engine to power it. While the 1910 map shows the address as 27, both the prior and subsequent maps show it as 31.

The theatre remains in operation on the 1928 map, but the 1955 map shows it as a store. The entire block was long ago destroyed, and is now occupied by two dismal modern buildings.
