The Electric Theatre was opened by 1909, operated by C. V. Brown & Son. The Electric Theatre offered “high class vaudeville, motion pictures, and illustrated songs”. By 1910, Brown would be operating Brown’s Theatre, almost directly across the street. By 1914, 211 W. Broad Street was the location of Nelson’s Theatre. The space had been converted into a café by 1920.
